A blog is an intellectual foreplay that leads to the release of intellectual juices on debatable issues. This post “freedom of religion or freedom from religion” made it to the links of the Two Edged Sword blog, though I have no idea of who the blogger is.A blog connect us to people across continent that we may not share a common interest. Strange? Well consider this: I’m not into sailing but I posted a reflection about the “I Am Sailing” song of Rod Stewart, Elizabeth whose life and work is into sailing, proacted and endorsed my post. We may think our post is just a simple rambling, but it can be somebody’s treasure. My post on “teaching my kids to blog” made it to the learning links of Victoria and her big sister Julia.
Likewise, when we rant about our work, dudes and dudettes of the same profession may find it helpful. Thus, my post about “new roles every modern HR should know” was featured on the review page of Sarcials Multipy account.
There may be bloggers on the loop who plunge into this habit forming activity because of you. Bloggers, whether we know it or not, were influenced by our style, intentions, niche or motivation. Thank you Angel’s Garden, Bugsey and Kids Glove for the opportunity to connect. And don’t forget, we have Kiven, who set up a blog to guide would be pro bloggers. And for big bloggers event like the Philippine Blog Awards, someone has to post a comprehensive account so others can capture the excitement, issues, musings and rantings. This is where Basang Panaginip rocks! Those who missed the event felt, hmmm, they missed a big part of their blogging life?
Blogs, likewise, become a vehicle to spread news that will make you proud of our race and heritage, take into account the graduation speeches of Mikaela Irene Fudolig, the 16 year old UP Suma Cum Laude and Oscar Franklin Barcelona Tan who addressed the 2007 law graduates of Harvard University. Punditocracy and Kape at Dyaryo ng OU were equally proud that they too, spread the news.
There are bloggers, like Chino, who is good at sending across his warm wishes in a unique way ![]()
When you touch people, they touch yours back. Like Redge and Carlo, their post refreshed and energized me that I am raring to blog some more!
Blogs touch others by stimulating their intellectual interest, building relationship, influencing others on issues ranging from simple blogging tools, monetizing a blog, gaming, foods and cooking, to serious stuffs like career and business and to the most serious life issues like marriage, parenting, Faith, unbelief, etc.
This make our blogosphere not only colorful, but a “life guide”.
