Adopt A Family Christmas Project
This Christmas season, my division (Human Resources) decided to forgo our plan to have Christmas dinner and use our budget instead, to “adopt a family“.
The birthday of the LORD Jesus is suppose to be value adding and special, unfortunately, some families can’t distinguish the occasion because of poverty. Thus, this project was conceptualized.
Each of my staff will recommend a family (they know) and we’ll decide as a group to chose the recipient. We’ll consider the following in the selection process:
- Decency/ Lifestyle
- we find it inappropriate to bless someone who is in need but still wastes money on gambling, alcohol
- Degree of poverty
- the family that needed the most assistance
- Children
